I have been informed it is obligatory to include a self-portrait on these sorts of pages. Here goes:

Basically, I’m just a guy with a life-long love for computing and video games, among other things.

So far as this site goes, a couple of friends kept nagging me to make a site and post things. I thought it might be interesting, and a chance to be a small part of the Web 1.0 Renaissance. That’s about it.

I guess we’ll end with the famous Five Questions:

• Favourite OS: Gentoo GNU/Linux
• Favourite editor: Vim
• Favourite programming language: Perl
• Favourite Web browsers:
  • Graphical: Librewolf, with qutebrowser as a fallback
  • Textual: w3m
• Favourite shell: GNU Bash

Anyone disagreeing with these choices is, of course, wrong.
